| Andis - the American clipper manufacturer have recently introduced a new 16mm full tooth blade for the dog grooming market. Known as the "UltraEdge" the blade fits all AG, BG and MBG Andis clippers as well as being compatible with Oster A5 models and a number of Wahl, Moser and Laube clipper which accept the “A5” type detachable blade. Manufactured in carbonised steel to extend the cutting edge life and with chrome finish to resist rust.
At 16mm (5/8th inch) depth of cut this is an advance of 3mm on the best Oster blade of its type available, and it leaves Wahl at a mere 10mm (the best in their range) a some what “tired horse” in the race! Clearly destined to be popular with busy dog groomer!
