Under
expert guidance from our staff, you can explore the various skills
required for grooming dogs, whether for a future professional career
or just simply for the pleasure and satisfaction of preparing and
caring for your own pets. Our spacious luxury-styled parlour is equipped
with the latest grooming tools and many other features.
Completely refurbished to accommodate the essential facilities
of a modern Grooming School, there is a reception area, office/shop,
spacious open plan grooming and bathing areas, separate kitchen,
two toilets and a large storage area. Outside and close by is an
additional parking area for a minimum of 10 cars reserved for students.
The grooming area is both large and well lit and equipped with
8 hydraulic/electric adjustable tables, each fitted with TPC System
Frames, which assist students to ensure the safety of the animals
whilst on the tables. For bathing and drying the Centre is equipped
with two modern waist high stainless steel baths (fitted with power-shower
heads) power blaster, four stand driers and a stainless steel state-of-the-art
fully programmed drying cabinet.
There is an area, which includes a dining table and chairs, offering
comfortable seating for study/theory sessions and lunch! Refreshments
including tea, coffee, hot chocolate and chilled water are provided.
Students are required to provide their own lunch and have access
to the kitchen facilities (microwave, fridge freezer, water cooler
machine, kettle). A mobile sandwich company also visits the Centre
every day. We are a "strictly non-smoking" organisation!
The shop area is stocked with many products used within the Centre
and these are available for purchase should the student wish.
