Animal Magic was established and is owned by Julie Dowle, who as a City & Guilds qualified professional groomer has been running her own successful grooming business for over twenty years. Apart from daily routine grooming, Julie has very considerable experience in the training of students from all kinds of backgrounds including members of the Police Force. She has demonstrated grooming at Crufts and competed at Euro-groom.
Having worked for a large retail company, selling grooming products, Julie has a wealth of experience to the various products, equipment and their uses. The Centre is regularly provided with all new products becoming available on the market for trial and assessment. Julie has completed Stage 1 Teaching Certificate and is working on Stage 2. She is also currently working towards The Advanced Groomers Diploma.
Under expert guidance from our staff, you can explore the various skills required for grooming dogs whether for a future professional career, or just simply for the pleasure and satisfaction of preparing and caring for your own pets. Our staff has a wealth of experience relating to the various products and their uses. We are able to offer the student sound advice on all aspects of grooming techniques and the selection and operation of various types of equipment.
Animal Magic specialises in the training of dog and cat grooming students from the UK and overseas to a high standard of professional performance. Many students on completing their courses go on to create their own successful businesses.
